Keeping up with the nonbaseball card themes

To keep up with the theme that is encompassing most of the baseball card blogs out there, I've decided to blog about something other than baseball cards.

I voted on Saturday. Almost wrote in Joe Torre and Don Mattingly for President and VP but didn't.

And that's as far as I'm going with that.

Last night I went to a Nine Inch Nails concert for the first time. I've never been a huge NIN fan but now I have much respect for Trent Reznor and his crew. They put on a very impressive show of lights and music. I only really know the singles from their albums but I have to say I really like Trent Reznor & Co.'s style, it was an extremely entertaining show. That's really all you can ask for at a concert where you're not entirely familar with the band. I'll take it a step further and say their music is at its best when it is live so if you like some of their stuff and they come to your town you should check them out.

Mad props to NIN for putting on an awesome concert in Greensboro last night!

I've seen NIN 3 times. I like their older, faster industrial stuff. The Broken EP is one of the angriest records of all time! They have never disapointed in concert. The sad thing is, of the 3 times I've seen them, the best time was when Trent was heavily into heroin!

NIN never disappoints in concert. I saw them in January 1995, in a horrible venue, and they still rocked! I've seen hundreds of bootleg concerts and I can honestly say that I've never seen a bad show.

Hopefully, I'll catch Trent and company sometime again.

The next time you go to a concert, I expect it NOT be on one of my school nights so I can go to.
